An amazing visit

We lunched at the Shanghai Botanic Garden and then did a golf-cart tour driven by an amazing young lady. She has a PhD in orchid pollination studies and was an amazing guide. There was a time when academics in the US orchid scene were like this (except usually older!!) but today that knowledge and passion are pretty much a memory. Sad!
