Hi! Does anyone here have any clue as to what Cym. Emerald (Cym. Lowio-Grandiflorum x Cym. tracyanum) looks like?
It's an old one, registered in 1924, but someone registered a new hybrid with it in 2019, so it must be out there somewhere!
I can't find a photo of it on the internet so far. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Tried 3 internet search engines, and none of them came up with any info, let alone a picture.
I also doubt that there would be many plants of that hybrid in existence today seeing it was registered 101 years ago.
A bit of a mystery!!

Thanks, and yes, there is almost nothing about it recorded!
The hunt continues.......
For info, I have remade this cross in reverse, and just flasked the green pod, which was huge! Plenty of seed to work with!
We are a long way away from flowers, but I'm looking forward to the result!

Well done, good luck with that germination and future flasks.
Good to see some of those early hybrids being remade - there should be some interest here for that hybrid!

Gary, I have a bunch of old remakes coming online soon, as well as some new early hybrids, and some primaries we haven't seen here either....
