I am begining to like spots, I think the background colour on this one gives it more of an appeal to my eye.

Hi folks, if you look at the end of the post above from Geoff, it says “last bumped by anonymous” so it appears that some setting on the forum is allowing non members to modify the timestamps on old posts. That gives me something to investigate.

Edit. Now that I posted this the “last bumped by anonymous” is now gone. Very weird.

Good luck with it all Tony, I notice all these bumped posts are by anonymous non members - so it must have to do with that forum change. It was not happening before when only members could post.

I am sorry, but my first thought was “this poor plant has measles …”, so intense is the spotting on this plant. My second thought was “It’s actually looking very good, and I love spotted Cym.s”. And I am glad that a pattern of the flowers that initially looked a bit “measly” has been outbred to the level we can see in this flower. In my view splashes, spots and stripes are the latest theme in Cymbidium hybridising, and we will see a lot more of this in the future, which is great.
