Cross made by Neill Burke in NZ. Flowered about 8 weeks ago.
Came to me as:
Gwynne x [ Coraki Advent ‘Bullion’ ( Red Beauty x Tracey Reddaway ‘Goldstrike’)]
Nice, eye catching flower, but, fades a bit too fast for me (7days?) into ordinariness.

Whatever happened to that fellow? I couldn't stand either him or his worthless father! That whole Valley Orchid's shambles is long-gone, fortunately. It all started with stolen plants from Dr. Vandyke and Merv Dunne was one of the slickest con artists ever seen in the Cymbidium world. Ritelight greenhouses etc. one scam after another.

Neill passed away December 2020.
Although I liked him, he did rub many the wrong way.

Consider Father and Son as "wrong way rubbers" as far as I'm concerned!!
