An unbelievably good mare! But I get more nervous every time she lines up and only want to see her retire undefeated. It's A Dundeel showed why NZ stayers are so good, in the Derby and Overreach showed that a third hard run was not the right call. Gai is a great trainer but sometimes she errs on the side of being a little too demanding of her team. A magical day's racing.

The way I read it, 1 more run in Queensland, the state where Moody grew up, and that's her career - though one of the owners wants to go back to the UK for another bite of the cherry. Too much to lose, nothing really to gain. The lure of the top hat!

Each bite of the cherry is as good as AU$1/2 million in the bank at least. Hard to argue with that fact. It's getting late to set her for Royal Ascot this year. The commentator on fox thinks they will take her next year. Listening to the trainer yesterday, he isn't in a hurry to wave goodbye to her. Are the owners interested in breeding I wonder? If not, I suppose there is your answer.
What is her $value if sold as a breeding proposition? I'd look at the yearling sale value of her first 2-3 foals to be offered as yearlings. $6 million+ each. Always assuming she is fertile and the progeny stay healthy.
I'm glad I don't have such headaches....NOT.
