The madidum, suave and canaliculatum posts were the best information I have seen on the subject. Maybe I wont kill some of the hybrids if I happon to lucky enough to get them.
Three of the cymbidiums hybrids I have in flower right now are madidum hybrids. Think I will take
pictures and post them. All are MrCym hybrids. Grey wet day - not good for pictures.The more I see of the madidum line the better I like it.

No problem, enjoyed it actually. I had sent some info to Andy before on this and he prompted me to post on the forum so decided to do each species individually as they are all different in their specific requirements.
Will add a wrap up post in a few days time to bring it all together with the salient points.
