Very impressive spikes of 16-18 blooms on an erect spike. Flowers almost 6" in diameter which is noteworthy because this was bred from Red Beauty 'Prinse's Albertina' 4n that is not as large as our tetraploid 'Netty'. Season strongly late November and carrying alba genes for a bonus.
This is eye-catching. Six inch flowers!
A challenge for you Mr. Cym........
.......If you were judging this plant on its flowers only, how would you mark it? Would you like to improve any aspect? Do judges also take into account other things like leaves, size of plant etc?
Would you 'award' it if you were a judge, say for example at the recent show? Being impartial of course.
Has your visit to S.B. given you itchy feet? Want to get back onto the show scene? What have you done with all the awards you have won at shows? Do you have a trophy room? Now THAT would be a great photo.
