Interesting......
I cannot help but notice that all the readers tonight of our posts obviously are not NHO Forum members with posting rights. It reinforces my belief that we are reaching a much wider audience than Forum members, many of whom rarely post anything. I may soon ask Tony to weed through the lengthy lineup of Forum members and delete anyone who hasn't posted at least once in the last twelve months!

Re: Interesting......
Weeding a forum is the same as weeding a garden, it was something I did regularly . There were always some 'dormant members'.
I'm glad that I won't fall into the category of those dormant members.
I like reading about your experimentation, line breeding and seeing the results but I lack the understanding of the intricacies involved so my involvement on the forum is more taking in the information than commenting on technical or historical.
Some of your posts do set me off looking for the plants used in your latest crossings just to see how the traits of the parent plants have been passed on.
If I made comments on the majority of posts made in batches I would probably end up falling into the 'ooh and ahh' fraternity. However, I always find something that will make me air my views.

Diane, a smart hybridizer listens to comments and often acts on them. As we all know, the "Judging Fraternity" are poor buyers for the most part. I never tell someone what they should buy but I surely note what they select when I am part of a sale during the Cym flowering season. Any decent looking Cym in California today is in the $60-75 range, wish I was still in the retail business....
