Had a new tigrinum-line seedling come into bloom this past weekend. A lovely clear lemon yellow with four spikes, upright without staking and 15 flowers average per stem. A real winner especially as it was a front-runner from the cross. Pictures taken and a spike cut Tuesday and placed in water for testing. On Wednesday..... oops, the flowers had gone limp. Lovely pot plant with three spikes sold to a wholesale customer. That's why we are New Horizon and others are not. We test and evaluate new selections very closely before risking a cloning commitment!
